R&D Literacy Tool
R&D Literacy Tool
Designed reading comprehension tool, identified research gap, and validated with 171 students
Digital literacy tool to improve literacy for struggling middle-school students in the U.S.

Overview
The Literacy Tool was one of the first explorations in ETS' newly established R&D AI Labs. The team had done a great deal of initial discovery research and were in the process of co-designing a solution with middle school teachers in the U.S when I joined the team. I took over UX design, initiating research with middle school students to understand their pain points and refine the solution based on their interests.
